Jones & DeMille Engineering
Jones & DeMille Engineering (JDE) has been serving rural Utah since 1982. We are an award-winning civil engineering, survey, and construction management firm that has grown to 125 employees scattered across our nine offices. Our offices are in Richfield (corporate office), Price, Manti, Roosevelt, Vernal, Monticello, Springville, St. George, and Evanston, WY. Our team of professionals is focused on shaping the quality of life in the rural West, serving our friends and clients as the go-to resource, delivering on our commitments, and always doing the right thing.
Our firm completed a few projects in Castle Country in the 1980s and 1990s out of the company’s birthplace office in Richfield. However, JDE began working in Carbon County in earnest in 2005 and established our office in Price in 2008, our first office outside of Richfield. We have completed dozens of projects for governmental and private clients alike, including roadways, bridges, buildings, drinking water and wastewater improvements, irrigation systems, stream channel restorations, recreational facilities, land surveys, materials testing, construction management, and many other project types.
We are proud of our innovative team which has developed tools to assist our clients in many ways. For example, our Funding Finder website is a library of funding alternatives that can be considered for public and private projects. Any local government (and anyone else) is welcome to use this free website to investigate options to bring projects to reality. Another example of our technological innovation is the creation of our ourlinQ software. JDE had long been creating tools to manage our finances to provide the proper motivation for high performance. We constructed an internal database program that we turned into an SAAS opportunity that is being marketed nationwide to project-based companies, including engineering, architectural, law, construction, and other firms. Additionally, our Rural Community Consultants subsidiary has been assisting local governments with planning, ordinances, zoning, strategic planning, government operations, and other services.
